CISP and the Social Policies and Health Department of Roma Capitale are organizing the TRANSFORMED project 4th International Symposium, taking place in Rome on October 29 and 30, 2026.
The initiative is carried out as part of the TRANSFORMED project - Fostering Transnational Knowledge for More Inclusive and Participatory Mediterranean, co-funded by the European Union under the Interreg NEXT MED Programme.
This two-day international event in Rome will bring together civil society organizations, local authorities, youth networks, social workers, and policymakers from across the Euro-Mediterranean region to share experiences, strategies, and methodologies for participatory governance and social inclusion.
Target Audience
The Symposium is specifically designed for third sector organizations, civic networks, youth groups, social workers, public administrators, and all stakeholders dedicated to participation and social inclusion.
The Impact
The Symposium will launch a long term initiative running through 2028 that offers local organizations in Rome the chance to join a Euro-Mediterranean network for inclusion, master co-design tools alongside public authorities, and contribute directly to the Guide on Participatory Community Data Analysis. Participants will also have access to study visits in partner countries and tailored mentoring programs to strengthen project design capabilities and tap into future funding opportunities.
